Our Independent Shared Housing Program was created to provide stable affordable housing in a caring environment where adults can rebuild and grow.
AKC understands that life circumstances can create barriers, but we also believe that with the right support system, individuals will regain stability, confidence, and independence.
AKC envisions a community where Independent Veterans, Seniors, Re-Entry Citizens, Aging Out Foster, DV Survivors, has access to safe supportive housing. While building a new clear pathway towards independence.
We promote Respect, Accountability, Responsibility, with Unity in every home!
Our homes operate like a loving family — supportive with structure. Residents are encouraged to maintain personal responsibility while receiving encouragement and guidance.
